Welcome to the Larry Hartsell Original Instructor Group. Our mission is to share with you our memories, knowledge and stories of Sifu Hartsell. All of the founding members of our group are highly skilled martial artists that studied under Sifu Hartsell for many years, and are directly certified by him.
If you would like to train in one of the greatest families in martial arts, you are more than welcome. This is a non-profit and most of all non-political and non-membership group. All styles and ranks are welcome to train with us.
We want to share the great teachings and legacy of Sifu Larry's Jeet Kune Do and Grappling Arts. All aspects of JKD are taught including kickboxing, trapping and grappling.
For weapons training, Sifu Larry loved Lameco Eskrima. Many of us trained Lameco with Larry and also with Punog Guro Edgar Sulite and Guro Dave Gould. See the Lameco article here.
